Qualifications
Candidates must be able to perform multiple tasks and work well under pressure. Interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills are essential. Must enjoy working with the public and possess a "the customer is always right" attitude. Professional appearance and pleasant telephone manners are a must.

Degree Required
High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer service or related field. Basic computer skills are required. Medical front office experience a plus. Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Typical duties and responsibilities: Greet and check-in patients. Enter patient information into database. Assist patients, employers, and insurance representatives by answering questions or providing the appropriate information. Schedule appointments. Sort and file patients' records. Keep inventory control of office supplies and forms. Accept payments from patients on an as-needed basis. Reconcile daily activity.

Essential Functions: Provide customer service in a professional, efficient, and timely manner. Develop and maintain rapport with employers and insurance representatives to ensure proper and timely authorizations for medical services. Provide back-up support to other personnel to ensure smooth operation of branch location.

Additional Comments: Duties include all others assigned by Clinic Coordinator. Travel to other Lakeside locations may be required on an as-needed basis.
